Painting a new canvas takes a lot of mental mapping & manual heavy lifting. At Retro Redhead, we don’t do "quick fixes" or "just a few foils" for new faces. We start every new guest colour journey by mapping your hair's history and curating a look designed to show the world who the eff your truly are. Some folks want a look that whispers while others want a colour that screams. Together we will find your comfort zone and your stylist will take it from there.

If we’re lightening your hair or doing a major shift, this is your safety net. K18 isn't a surface-level conditioner; it’s a biological reset that repairs the internal keratin chains of your hair. It keeps your hair from feeling like straw and ensures your colour actually stays locked in rather than washing down the drain. I highly recommend adding this to any dimensional or transformation session to protect your investment.
Solid Colour Roots to Ends
Investment $145
This is for the guest looking for total uniformity and depth. Whether you’re going darker, richer, or hitting the "reset" button on old, faded colour, this session delivers a rich, saturated result from your roots to your ends. This is the move for my Grey Coverage Queens who need that new growth hidden and their ends revived, or for anyone wanting to deepen their natural base. We focus on a single-process application to create a polished, consistent baseline—no lightening or dimension involved.
To ensure your new shade is nothing short of perfection we always include a custom mixed gloss and a full blowdry in the price. Walking out with wet hair isn't an option here. W need to see that colour hit the light so we both know it looks fabulous.
Important Note for Blondes: If you are currently lightened and wanting to go significantly darker, please reach out to our client concierge, Emily, before booking. Your hair requires a specific "filling" process to ensure the colour doesn’t end up looking muddy or hollow. We need to plan for those extra steps to get the saturation right the first time.
The Whole Damn Head Full Custom Colour
Investment $260
This service allows enough time for the use of multiple techniques to achieve your desired look. Often includes a base color, highlights, lowlights, balayage, etc. Have some pesky greys you need hidden and wanting dimension this is the service for you. This is also what you would book if you are looking for a root stretch, shadow root, root tap, whatever the cool kids call it these days. Glossing and blowdry/style is included in the price to ensure the colour is perfection before you leave.
The Half Head Hustle
Investment $200
Almost the same as the whole damn head but….you guessed it this is only half the head, so if you never wear your hair up, aren’t quite due for the full head again OR you want your natural depth to peek through this is the service for you. We book enough time for the use of multiple techniques to achieve your desired look. Often includes a root retouch (even underneath for my grey coverage queens) highlights, lowlights, balayage, etc for the top and sides of your head. Glossing and blowdry/style is included in the price to ensure the colour is perfection before you leave.
SUSTAINING THE LOOK
Once we’ve built your foundation, we move into maintenance mode. We don't believe you should have to do the "Whole Damn Head" every time you see us.
After your initial session, you’ll have access to our Resident-only "mini" services:
The Root Refresh: Your secret weapon against stubborn greys or that pesky new growth. We get in, refresh the first 1-2 inches, and get you back to looking polished.
The Quick Pop: For when you just need a little "something" or a refresh for an unexpected event. We apply a few foils down your part line only to keep the dimension alive while your natural regrowth does its thing.
These sessions are reserved exclusively for our returning Residents to ensure the work we’re maintaining is work we’ve already perfected.
NOTE ON GRATUITY
We have a complicated relationship with tipping culture. We know the social pressure at the checkout counter can be a sensory nightmare and has become viewed as a social expectation.
If you have the means and the desire to leave a tip, it is received with genuine gratitude. If you don't, your presence in our chair and your trust in our hands is more than enough.
Because these are high-intensity, multi-hour technical sessions, the option to tip is available. But please hear me: It is never expected.
No awkwardness, no "social tax," no math required.
